Merry Christmas my lovelies…
My! My! What a year! 2015!
But look at us, headcount complete, no broken bones, none is sick, we have plenty food and family and belly laughs and love… Indeed there’s so much to be thankful for.
I’ve done a lot of waka/activity since December began and it sort of set the tone/pace for my Christmas holiday *no complaints at all*
Was in Kaduna over the weekend for a dear friend’s family event – wedding/kamu. It was so lovely. I lived in Kaduna as a child and so it was nice to visit again as an adult. Even though I couldn’t remember much, I remembered angwar rimi, Hamdala hotel, durbar hotel [defunct] and Barnawa. Very nostalgic! Many thanks dear Hauwa, for being such an amazing hostess and happy married life to our dear Aíe.
In the flurry of activity, I’ve sha ended up in Lagos, which is where I’ll be spending Christmas and I couldn’t have picked better. It’s been a whirlwind and I’ve barely gotten any sleep, but TIGERBLOOD!!! Ha ha
Woke up today like this……. *Food coma*
Bonus selfies just because….
Thank you guys for always reading my blog, for engaging with me, for giving me constructive feedback and for being all round awesome! One of you lovelies emailed me yesterday to check in [as per I hadn’t updated this page in a minute], I was so touched by the gesture. Thank you specially Halima. You made me smile.
I wish you all the very best as we all wrap up 2015 and I pray that 2016 brings with it, the very best! God bless you all always *sprinkles happy glitter*
Now go forth and rock this holiday, because I most definitely will! Lagos chronicles coming soon.
Jingle aalllllllllllllllll the waaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyy 😀
